Air France's Controversial New Iran Rules for Stewardesses

Air France Airbus landing.

Air France stewardesses will be required to cover up for fights to Tehran. "Tolerance and respect for the customs of the countries we serve are part of the values of our company," an Air France spokesman said.

The Air France stewardesses are not happy, and their union is asking that the humiliating accessory be required only when off the plane, out of uniform and off duty.

It is not known if Air France pilots will be required to follow the Islamic custom of flying airliners into buildings.

  1. "Tolerance" with muslims is always one-way. A proud culture, confident in itself would not allow its people to be treated like this. Nor would a second-rate terrorist nation like Iran dare to ask it.

Tolerance, properly understood, is the icing ng on the cake of Christian virtue. Tolerance, as we practice it in our moral blindness, is merely another word for cowardice and cravenness.

  2. Replies
    1. It's called cultural surrender.

There is much evidence of this all around. The worst of it is in Rome itself these days.

This Air France capitulation is just one, minor symptom.
