Pope Lets Down Bloggers Once Again

The whole idea of blogging is that somebody does something and the blogger offers insightful commentary. But Pope Francis is so mind-numbingly stupid there's just nothing to add.

Muslims mass-murder Christians in Egypt and the Pope says this:

We pray for the victims of the attack carried out unfortunately today, this morning, in Cairo, in a Coptic church. I am close to my dear Brother, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, and to the Coptic Church and to all the dear Egyptian nation I express my profound condolence; I pray for the deceased and the wounded, I am close to the families and to the whole community. May the Lord convert the heart of all those persons that sow terror, violence and death, and also the heart of those that produce and traffic arms.

Sorry, Bear got nothing.

  1. Poor old Tawadros II. Just a few weeks ago he was saying that the situation wasn't that bad, really.

  2. You know, we've actually got a patron saint of arms dealers: St. Hadrian of Nicomedia.

  3. We have no pope. No leadership. No men.
It's a shame to consider how many Christians must die or be maimed before these fools comprehend that Islam and Christianity cannot live side by side, and stop their insane prattling about immigration.
These men have lost all credibility with Catholics who are paying attention. Lucky for them there are still many who aren't.

    1. what I wouldn't give for another Pius V....THAT was a man and a father. This lot today has NO clue what true fatherhood entails; they abuse the flock and claim prudence and mercy. I've pretty much lost all respect for Burke and the other 3 dubia brothers too.

On the bright side, it looks like spring is here! *half-hearted smile*

  4. All of this ecumenical outreach to Muslims, just seems like plain old cowardice to me. We have a dangerous lack of cojones in the Vatican these days...
